The Spirit of
Selfless Service
In the yogic tradition, Seva (selfless service) is not just a help to others, but a path of inner growth and purification. By offering our skills without looking for personal gain, we quiet the ego and align with a broader collective.
Blissmaya has built structured options for volunteers to engage, whether physically at our locations or remotely.
On-Site Seva
Support visitor care, organic farming, kitchen prep, or site maintenance at the Rural Dhyana Mandhira.
Remote Seva
Contribute through web development, design, writing, video editing, translation, or administrative help.
How to Participate
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds. While prior yoga experience is helpful, it is not required.
- Seva Residency: Apply for short-term stays (2 weeks to 1 month) at our rural retreat center. Lodging and Satvik food are provided in exchange for daily service.
- Outreach Teaching: Certified instructors can lead free weekly classes in schools, communities, or local centers.
- Minimum Commitment: Remote volunteers are asked to commit to 4 hours per week for at least 3 months.
Funding Free Programs
Blissmaya operates on a sustainable loop model where commercial/premium offerings subsidize local social work.
- 100% Transparency: Surplus revenues from fee-based corporate and private classes go directly toward rural initiatives.
- Equal Access: Paid programs fund free weekly yoga and breathwork sessions in government schools and rural village clinics.
- Infrastructure: Your support helps maintain the Rural Dhyana Mandhira as a free/low-cost space for silent meditation.

Every donation, large or small, directly impacts individuals in local and rural communities.
