Yoga Practices
& Programs
Ancient wisdom brought into everyday life. Our practices are rooted in classical tradition and offered with care — for individuals, students, and organisations seeking genuine inner wellbeing.
More than postures.
A path inward.
Blissmaya's programs are not a fitness regimen. They are a carefully structured journey through the classical limbs of yoga — breath, body, attention, and awareness — designed to create lasting calm, clarity, and wellbeing in everyday life.
Five pathways. One unfolding.
Hatha Yoga
हठ योग · The FoundationHatha yoga is the root from which all other practices grow. At Blissmaya, Hatha is taught as a holistic system — one that prepares the body and nervous system through mindful asana sequences, correct alignment, and conscious breathing. Each session is structured to build strength, flexibility, and stillness together, not separately.
Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, our Hatha sessions progress at a measured pace, ensuring that every student feels grounded, safe, and genuinely nourished by the practice.
Guided asana sequences with breath-led movement. Sessions typically begin with grounding, move through a progressive sequence, and close with a restorative rest or short meditation.
Individuals at any level. Students. Working professionals. Those recovering from stress, burnout, or physical stiffness. Anyone curious about yoga done properly.
Weekly group sessions · School and college programs · Corporate morning sessions · One-to-one guidance
Pranayama
प्राणायाम · The BreathPranayama is the science of breath regulation — one of the most powerful and least understood tools available to the human body. Through deliberate breathing techniques, practitioners learn to influence their energy, emotional state, and mental clarity in ways that no physical practice alone can achieve.
At Blissmaya, pranayama is taught methodically — beginning with awareness of natural breath and gradually introducing classical techniques such as Nadi Shodhana, Bhramari, Ujjayi, and Kapalbhati, always in alignment with the individual's current condition and readiness.
Breathwork
श्वास · The Living RhythmWhile pranayama follows classical yogic tradition, our breathwork sessions draw on a broader integrative approach — blending ancient technique with contemporary understanding of the nervous system. These sessions are particularly effective for stress release, emotional regulation, and resetting the body after sustained periods of pressure.
Breathwork is often introduced in our institutional programs as a first step — accessible, immediate, and remarkably effective even in a single session.
Trataka
त्राटक · Steady GazeTrataka is the ancient practice of fixed gazing — typically on a candle flame — used as a shatkarma (purification) and as a direct gateway into meditative absorption. It is one of the most effective yet underused practices in the traditional yoga toolkit.
Regular practice strengthens concentration, calms the restless mind, improves eye health, and creates a remarkable clarity of inner vision. At Blissmaya, Trataka sessions are introduced thoughtfully — with adequate preparation and context — so that the experience is both safe and deeply meaningful.
Chakra Meditation
चक्र · Energy CentresThe chakra system is a classical map of the subtle body — seven primary energy centres that correspond to specific physical, emotional, and psychological qualities within us. Chakra meditation at Blissmaya is approached not as metaphysical speculation, but as a practical, experiential inner tool.
Guided sessions use breath, sound, visualisation, and awareness to help practitioners sense, balance, and work with these centres. The result is a profound deepening of inner listening and a greater sense of wholeness.
